Welcome to the website, ‘Timeline of Polish Kings and Queens’.

It was created for you, young people and all those who would like to learn more about the fabulous kings and queens in Polish history.

Look for the kings with GOLDEN CROWNS for these are the kings and queens who have a special place in the hearts of Poles – they are the ones who are best remembered and who have made Polish history so special.

Make sure to look at the memorable paintings devoted to each of the monarchs and their history. They are the work of outstanding artists, both of those who lived in the times of the kings and those who recreated Polish history on canvas in the 19^th century, like the most famous Polish artist, Jan Matejko.
